Chris Pilkington is the founder of Qcentive. He is a 30-year entrepreneur and healthcare industry strategist, specializing in design and implementation of new business models in commercial and government healthcare and healthcare information technology.

Chris has worked extensively in fast-growth high-performance environments with a proven track record of bringing innovative products to market and driving enhanced profitability for clients and shareholders.  He has designed and implemented strategic plans for government HHS agencies, Fortune 1000 healthcare and HCIT organizations, and private equity portfolio companies.  Chris has co-founded and advised several healthcare technology startups representing over $250 million in venture equity placed.

Earlier in his career, Chris was a senior executive at Magellan Health Services, helping to launch the company’s first nationwide division focused on privatization of health and human services populations. Prior to that Chris served under three gubernatorial administrations, responsible for capital planning and budgets of over $2B in healthcare, public safety and higher education.

Chris is an active board member of several nonprofit organizations focused on disability.  He holds master’s degrees from Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned a bachelor’s degree from Yale.
